We are Beeston Rylands Archers, a target archery club based in the Beeston Rylands area of South West Nottinghamshire.

The club has been in existence for over 50 years and shoots at a lovely venue situated adjacent to the River Trent.
We are a friendly group who take our archery but not ourselves too seriously.
We welcome archers of any age or ability, even if you have never handled a bow before.
We can help you get started in this most rewarding of sports - age is no barrier we have had members who did not pick up a bow until they were in their 70's.

Most years we hold two beginners courses in May & August with all instructions and equipment provided.  We may be able to arrange an impromptu course for enquiries of 4 or more people.  Email to discuss.

Between mid May and early September we have use of the field from 10:30am on Sundays.  At any other time of year the regular hours are 12:30pm - 3:00pm+  during which our agreement with the Rugby Club is to commence shooting no earlier than 1pm due to the presence of children's activities.  This does not apply when there are no rugby club activities on that day.

In the Summer season (April to September) we shoot on Wednesday and Friday evenings starting at 5:00pm** setup until dusk. During the Winter months our mid week shoot is moved to Wednesday and Thursday where we shoot at our indoor venue (6pm to 8:30pm).  There is a £3 charge per session to cover the cost of hall hire (£1.50 for juniors).  Due to limited space on the shooting line visitors are by invitation or agreement in advance by email.  Details of our modest indoor venue in the FAQ.
